Malkangiri, Aug 2:
Voicing its protest against the mindless and brutal killing of innocent tribals by the Maoists, a tribal organisation in Odisha’s Malkangiri district has stepped up campaign against the left wing ultras.
According to reports, the Malkangiri Adivasi Sangh has circulated several posters in the interior areas of Kalimela and Padia blocks in which it has alleged that the Maoists have unleashed a reign of terror by indulging in mindless killing of innocent tribals by conducting one-sided trial in the Praja courts.
Citing instances, the Sangh has said the tragic death of Bira Padiami of Darabaguda village in the pressure bomb blast on July 29 and the murder of Ganga Madhi, Madan Hantal, Deba Padiami and Ganga Madkami of Kabasiguda village by the Maoists speaks volume about their mindless killing.
“What kind of revolution this is ?” the Sangh has questioned the red rebels in these posters.
