Bhubaneswar, May 25 :

Odisha’s internationally acclaimed scuba diver, singer and film maker Sabir Bux has come up with a music video expressing hope that the peace process between India and Pakistan would be revived with the visit of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to India to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday.

Titled ‘Aao Mil Ke Aao Dekhein Dosti Ke Rang’, the four-minute long music video, produced and directed by Bux, has been shot under water. The video shows Bux and other actors singing the song with the national flags of India and Pakistan. Two Pakistani singers, Yahya Ashfaq and Ayub Patel have lent their voices to the chorus.

Talking to OST, Bux said the visuals were shot earlier but he thought of creating a new music video after he came to know of the visit of the Pakistan Prime Minister.

” I sincerely believe, Sharif Saheb’s visit will herald a new era of peace and co-operation between the neighbours. It is time to shun bad blood and put all the bitterness behind us. I feel inspired by Modi ji’s wonderful gesture and my music video is  dedicated to the Indo-Pak peace process,” Bux said,

48-year old Sabir, who lives in Kesharpur in Cuttack,  is a master trainer in scuba diving and has produced a number of music videos shot under water over the last 10 years to celebrate major national and international events.

He was fascinated by both scuba diving and under-water photography while he was in the Middle East and soon his hobby turned into his major vocation in life once he was back in his home town, Cuttack.
