Puri, Oct 23:
On the occasion of Dussehra, Odisha sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik brilliantly blended the issue of child abuse with Ravan Dahan in a sand sculpture at Puri beach as he urged everyone to act against child abuse.
The captivating sculpture depicts a child with an arrow inside a bow that hits Ravan and the message aside reads- Stop Being Insane: Kill the Demon.
Through his art, Sudarsan urges the society to act against child abuse.
“I Appeal to the society to act against #Childabuse. We pray Goddess Durga to kill the demon. My sand art with message ‘stop being Insane, Kill the Demon’ at Puri beach, Odisha,” he tweeted in a series yesterday and today.
“This Dusshera I have tried to put forth child abuse as the demon or evil that exists in the society. The society should be ready at all points of time to act against child abuse,” said the acclaimed artist.
