Cuttack, Jul 14:
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, will announce the results of the High School Certificate (HSC) Supplementary examination-2015 tomorrow.
This was announced by BSE president Prof Dakshya Prasad Nanda at a press briefing here this afternoon.
“We will announce the results at the Board’s headquarters office here at 10.30 AM tomorrow. The students can get their results from three websites— www.prestigeresults.in , www.indiaresults.com and www.bseodisha.nic.in after 11.30 AM,” Nanda said.
He said the Board had completed the valuation of the HSC Supplementary answer sheets this year in two days flat on July 3 and 4.
“For the first time, we had introduced a new system in this year’s Supplementary examination as a pilot project in which the examiners at the valuation centres were relieved of manual entry of marks in the mark foil as they were directly fed to the computer and sent to the processing firms for automatic upload. Except some minor glitches, the system proved immensely useful as we were able to announce the results much earlier this year. We are hopeful of rectifying these minor mistakes and make it an error-free system for the annual examination next year,” the BSE president informed.
A total of 18,006 students had appeared in the examination which began on June 22 at 61 centres in the sub divisional headquarters and concluded on June 27.
