As part of the ongoing probe into irregularities in allotment of houses under the discretionary quota and multiple allotment, the Odisha State Housing Board (OSHB) has served show-cause notices to 74 beneficiaries, informed Pratap Deb chairman OSHB here today.
While the OSHB has served show-cause notices to 53 beneficiaries for allotments under discretionary quota, it has served notices to 21 for availing multiple plots/houses. Beneficiaries have been asked to reply to the show-cause notices within a month, said Deb.
“We have served notices to 53 beneficiaries for allotments made under discretionary quota (DQ) and 21 beneficiaries in the case of multiple allotments in the first phase. This won’t end here we will issue show-cause notices in phases. The process of issuing notices began today,” said Deb here today.
