Odisha HC defers hearing in cases against Naveen over poll expenses

Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court today deferred hearing in the case pertaining to alleged discrepancies in poll expenses figures of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The High Court deferred hearing in two cases filed against the Chief Minister in this connection. The High Court has fixed the next date for hearing on the matter on September 6.

Defeated Hinjili assembly constituency candidate Debananda Mohapatra and RTI activist Subash Mohapatra have filed two separate cases against Patnaik making similar allegations.
