The Director of Medical Education & Training (DMET) today formally uploaded a notice on its website for reallocation of students of Sardar Rajas Medical College and Hospital (SRMCH), Jaring to other medical colleges in the state pursuant to directions of the Orissa High Court.
The uploaded notice reads that students admitted to MBBS course at SRMCH in the academic session 2013-14 (100 students) and 2014-15 (24 students) will be reallocated in the medical colleges of the state.
While out of 85 students admitted to SRMCH under State Quota for the academic session 2013-14 a total of 43 students will be reallocated to MKCG Medical College and Hospital at Brahmapur, 42 students will be reallocated to VIMSAR at Burla.
Similarly, 15 students admitted under Management Quota in the same academic session will be reallocated five each to Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital, Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and Institute of Medical Science & SUM Hospital.
Besides, out of the 24 students admitted to SRMCH & RC under State Quota for the academic session 2014-15 a total of 12 students each will be reallocated to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Brahmapur and VIMSAR, Burla.
As per schedule notified by the DMET for counseling, students can go for online registration, application and choice locking on 15th and 16th of December from 10 AM to 5 PM.
