Odisha Govt declares April 14 as holiday

Odisha Government today announced that the 125th birth anniversary of founder of the Indian Constitution and renowned social reformer Dr BR Ambedkar would be marked as a state holiday.

As per a press notification issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), all government offices and educational institutions in the state would remain closed on April 14 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary statesman.
