Bhubaneswar, Mar 10:
A week after CBI questioned top Odisha IPS officers RP Koche and Sanjeev Panda in connection with Seashore group and the chit fund scam, Seashore Group CMD Prashant Kumar Dash today denied having any relation with them.
For that matter, he ruled out having any kind of unethical relations with any IPS or IAS officer and demanded a faster CBI enquiry.
“Seashore group doesn’t have any IPS link. CBI is a big agency. Let it investigate the matter. It would be very clear that we don’t have any links with any IAS and IPS officer. I just hope that the investigation would be over soon and the depositors would get justice,” said Dash.
Dash also called Subhankar an investor of his company and ruled out having any links with him beyond that.
“Subhankar is only a depositor of Seashore. That’s how we know him. The company doesn’t have any relation with him beyond that. Besides, Seashore never needed a middleman,” he added.
On the other hand, Subhankar also toed Dash’s line and said that the diary based on which the IPS officers were questioned doesn’t belong him.
“The entire diary episode is completely false. I do not have any kind of relation with any IPS officer or Seashore at all. You are telling that people have been interrogated because of their links with me. This is not true. I have no such knowledge,” said Subhankar speaking to reporters today.
