Results of the Diploma Entrance Test (DET)-2014 , conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education & Training (DTET) Odisha , was announced this afternoon.
Students can log on to www.detodisha.nic.in to know their results.
A total of 62,864 students had appeared in the test for admission into different diploma engineering courses of which 42319 have qualified, while in the lateral entry out of a total of 21,120 candidates, 18,880 have qualified.
In the non-engineering course, out of a total of 846 candidates, 601 have qualified.
As decided by the DTET, the students who had appeared the test would be provided with their rank.
The first phase counselling for admission would begin from June 11 to August 14 for admission in about 41,000 seats in 29 government and about 100 private polytechnic institutes in the state.
Students have to deposit Rs 200 towards the counselling fee.
Students can have their choice of institute and trade from June 11 to June 23.
Verification of documents would be held between June 13 and 23 at 34 nodal centres in the state.
While allotment of seats would be announced on June 30, the students will have to deposit the admission fee in their respective institutions by July 5.
