Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated several completed welfare programmes and laid foundation stones for many others on a daylong tour of Rayagada and Gajapati districts.
Starting his tour from Rayagada, he inaugurated the Gumuda bride on Vamsadhara River and then proceeded to dedicate and lay foundations stones of 59 more projects under Gunupur and Bissam Cuttack Assembly constituencies.
He also distributed financial aid to deserving beneficiaries under Jeevika Mission, Basundhara Scheme, National Family Welfare Scheme and Biju Pakka Ghar scheme among others.
“I am delighted to be here today for a number of welfare programmes and development schemes for the local people,” said Patnaik speaking to reporters.
Later in the day, he visited Gajapati district where he addressed public gatherings and launched several other projects at Gumma and Mohana.
