Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved funds worth Rs 206.56 crore for several infrastructure development projects across the state.
Special focus has been laid on funding projects in tribal belts and western part of the state, according to a press notification issues by the Chief Minister’s Office this evening.
Some of the projects for which funding was sanctioned today include: Bolangir-Kantabanjhi-Bangamunda-Chandutora road, Nuapada-Sohela high-level bridge, Sumandal-Angar village road, Moter-Jayapatna road, Sohela-Nuapada high-level bridge, Sohela-Nuapada road, Buruda-Arjunpur road, expansion of road between Koraput-Parbatipur-Laxmipur and Rampur-Nakamundia-Nuagaon-Balakumari road.
In the coastal belt, funds have also been sanctioned for the Dhauli-Sundarpada bypass bridge on river Daya near Bhubaneswar.
