Intelligence Bureau and the Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch, Odisha grilled two suspicious Kashmir youths on Tuesday and later released them with a clean cheat who were detained and questioned by Saheed Nagar police before.
They were interrogated on suspicion of link with terror activities. However, the sleuths realized that they were here in search of job after which they were freed.
Odisha police DG K B Singh also had a discussion with the Saheed Nagar police in this regard.
According to reports, both were staying in an asbestos house in Science Park slum here. Suspecting their activities, a slum dweller had informed the Saheed Nagar police about them over telephone.
Police reached the slum and took them to custody on Sunday night.
The duo was working as data entry operator in New Delhi where they were introduced with a youth of Bhadrak district and came here for better job opportunity. However, after failing to get a job of their choice, they were staying in the slum, informed a police source.
