The state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would elect its new legislature party leader on March 13, party sources said.
The newly elected leader would replace the incumbent legislature party leader Basant Panda who holds the post of state president of the saffron party.
Odisha in-charge of BJP Arun Singh, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan are slated to attend the meeting. The meeting of the new state office-bearers of the party which include seven vice presidents, four general secretaries, one general secretary (organisation), one treasurer and 10 secretaries will also be held on the same day, sources added.
