Renowned Odisha actor Sabyasachi Mishra debuted in Telugu movie industry with ‘Neeranjanam’ on Thursday opposite actress Karunya Chowdhary.
The Mahurat of the movie was done at Annapurna Studio in Hyderabad. The movie is being produced by Mahalaxmi Movies and directed by Avan Alla. The shooting of the film is scheduled to start next month.
“I am glad to inform you all that from today, I have started my journey in Telugu Film Industry. My first Telugu Movie ‘NEERANJANAM’ with a big banner had its grand opening ceremony at Annapurna Studio, Hyderabad. It’s a big day for me. All that I need is your best wishes and blessings. Because without you, I am nothing,” wrote Sabyasachi on his Facebook page.
Sabyasachi started his career in the Odia music video industry and has acted in more than 200 videos in Odia, Bhojpuri, Bangla, Chhatisgadi and Punjabi language music videos. He debuted in Odia movie industry in the Hara Patnaik directed ‘Pagala Premi’.
He had won a State Award for Best Actor in 2007 for his first movie and repeated the success again in 2012 for ‘Emiti Bi Prema Hue’. He won the Filmfare East award for Best Actor in 2013 for ‘Mun Eka Tumara’. So far, he has acted in more than 25 movies.
