Nrutyambada, the annual dance festival organised by the Orissa Dance Academy, will begin at Rabindra Mandap here on May 12.
The two-day festival would be graced by Arabinda Padhee, commissioner-cum-secretary, Tourism and Culture, Manoranjan Patnaik, director Tourism, Sushil Kumar Das, director, Culture, Dr Priyambada Mohanty Hejmadi, former vice chancellor, Sambalpur University, Guru Banamali Maharana, eminent Mardala maestro and Prof Guru Ramhari Das, former chief executive, GKCM Odissi Research Centre.
Students of the Academy will perform Odissi, Sambalpuri, Pally Nrutya, Gotipua and Odissi dance ballet.
