The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) today informed the Odisha government about the postponement of its three day camp sitting scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar from 19 to 21 August due to the severe flood situation in the state.
Assistant Registrar (Law) C.S. Mawri of NHRC through a letter today informed the state chief secretary about the postponement in view of the severe floods in the state.
According to the changed schedule, the national rights panel will hold its three day camp sitting from 15 to 17 October in Bhubaneswar, the letter said.
