Over 10 days after the announcement of Dr K Srinath Reddy as the adviser to the Odisha government, the eminent healthcare professional today called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other officials of the Health department here.
Dr Reddy met Chief Minister at the state secretariat where he discussed on the issues pertaining to the healthcare delivery.
“We had a detailed discussion on steps to strengthen the healthcare delivery system in Odisha. Chief Minister asked to ensure that healthcare services reach all the denizens of the state at the earliest,” Reddy told media after the meeting.
During his maiden visit since appointment, Reddy also met Health Secretary Pramod Kumar Meherda.
