The newly sworn in Odisha council of ministers, which had its first meeting today, resolved to approve the BJD manifesto and to make all out efforts to implement the promises made in it.
“As stated in the BJD manifesto, in the first Council of Ministers today, it was resolved to approve the manifesto of BJD and to make all out efforts to implement the promises made in the manifesto in phased manner following due process of government,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik told media persons after the meeting.
The Ministers also thanked the people of Odisha and expressed their gratitude to them for once again reposing their trust in the government to serve them for the next five years, Patnaik said.
It is to be noted that the Chief Minister and BJD president, while releasing the manifesto of BJD during the election campaign, had promised to discuss it on the oath taking day.
