BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik was sworn-in as the chief minister of Odisha for the fourth term here today.
Patnaik was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Dr SC Jamir in a glittering ceremony at Raj Bhawan premises here at 10.10 AM.
This was followed by the formal swearing-in of 21 Odisha ministers, including 11 of the cabinet rank.
The 11 Cabinet ministers who were administered oath of office and secrecy are, Pradip Kumar Amat (Boudh), Dr Damodar Rout (Paradip), Debi Prasad Mishra (Badamba), Pradip Maharathi (Pipili), Bijayshree Routray (Basudevpur), Bikram Keshari Arukh (Bhanjanagar), Smt Usha Devi (Chikiti), Lal Bihari Himirika (Rayagada), Jogendra Behera (Loisingha), Badri Narayan Patra (Ghasipura) and Pushpendra Singhdeo (Dharmagarh)
The 10 ministers of state are, Prafulla Kumar Mallick (Kamakhyanagar), Ramesh Chandra Majhi (Jharigan), Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak (Mahakalapada), Arun Kumar Sahu (Nayagarh), Sanjay Kumar Dasburma (Brahmagiri), Sudam Marandi (Bangiriposi), Ashok Chandra Panda (Ekamra-Bhubaneswar), Pranab Prakash Das (Jajpur), Pradip Kumar Panigrahi (Gopalpur) and Snehangini Chhuria (Atabira).
