Bhubaneswar, Feb 3: Odisha emerged as the second runner up with seven gold medals in the National Kickboxing Championship which was concluded at Saheed Nagar Indoor Hall here on Monday.
While Assam won the overall team championship trophy with 22 gold medals, Haryana emerged as the runner-up with 9 gold medals.
Ravi Narayana Nanda, District Governor of Rotary International Dist- 3262 awarded the medals to the winners of the 18th Junior National Kick Boxing Championship while Rtn Sibabrata Das awarded the medals to winners of 19th Senior National Kick Boxing Championship at the closing ceremony.
The event was organised by the All Odisha Kickboxing Association (AOKA) under the aegis of Indian Association of Kickboxing Organization (IAKO).
