Senior Congress leader Narasingha Mishra, who had been admitted to the Apollo Hospital here on Monday after he felt pain in his chest, was flown to Mumbai today for a bypass surgery.
According to sources, Mishra, accompanied by some of his family members, has been flown to Mumbai, where he will go for treatment in the Apollo hospital in Mumbai, this morning.
Sources said doctors have advised him to undergo immediate bypass surgery after multiple tests confirmed blockages in the arteries linked to heart.
Though it’s not a very serious cardiac problem, he has to undergo surgery to prevent a major cardiac problem in future.
Yesterday, he was admitted to the ICU in Apollo hospital here after feeling uneasy.
