Suspected Maoists today set afire a kendu leaf godown at Gourapali village under Lakhanpur panchayat of Ambabhona block in Odisha’s Bargarh district.
According to reports, a group of armed rebels torched the godown in the wee hours today and left posters in the area.
In the posters, the Reds have threatened the local BDO and Sarpanch for indulging in corruption in the construction of roads and houses under the Indira Awas Yojana (IAY).
Meanwhile, police reached the spot and seized the posters.
