Bhubaneswar, April 14:
The Odisha BJP today mocked BJD supremo and chief minister Naveen Patnaik on his frequent invocation of ‘Biju Babu’s dreams’ asking him how many more years he would take to fulfill the dreams of Biju Patnaik.
“The chief minister, who has failed to take developmental activities and provide basic amenities to the people in the last 14 years of his rule in Odisha, is now giving false promises to solve the problems of the people by seeking another term to carry out development. It has exposed the inefficiency of Naveen Patnaik government,” said BJP spokesperson Suresh Pujari.
He also asked the chief minister to explain to the people the failure of his government to carry out developmental activities in the state.
“How many terms more does he need to solve the problems of the state? The chief minister, who always talks of accomplishing the dream of Biju Babu, has failed to meet the aspiration of the people,” said Pujari adding that the false promises of the BJD would not be accepted by the people this time.
Asking the BJD supremo to see the writing on the wall, the BJP leader said the high turnout in the first phase polls is evident of change bot in the state and at the Centre.
