KIIT Fest, the annual festival of KIIT University concluded in the Odisha capital today.
The festival was a defining platform for the students and artists to showcase their skills and develop their potential.
The students showcased their technical and cultural talents. It was the biggest platform for the students to express their technical ideas in various fields and cultural creativity.
More than 8000 students from various technical institutes across the country participated in this techno-cultural extravaganza, while more than 60 technical and cultural events held in various campuses of KIIT.
The four-day extravaganza featured on workshops for inquisitive minds, robotic events for technical, app making events for computer geeks, structure challenges for civil engineers, business plan marathons for management gurus, debates, dance, drama and quizzing events for artists and cultural shows for free wheelers.
To make the fest more colourful, Bollywood musical Duo Salim-Sulaiman, singer Sweta Pandit, winner of the Indian Idol-6 and well-known Bollywood artist Sourav Shukla, singer Karan Oberoi and sunburn DZ group were the star attractions of the festival on different days.
Besides, competitive events like ‘Jab They Met’, ‘Amalgam’, ‘Give Me a Break’, ‘Open Sesame’, ‘Pen The Lens’, ‘KIIT FEST Press Corps’, ‘That’s Life’, “View Profile’, ‘Time Machine’, ‘Virtuous Artus’, ‘Illumination’, ‘Raag’, ‘Taal’, ‘Manch’, ‘Hands On: Algorithm’, ‘Bhojan’, ‘Create’, ‘Tron’, ‘Troy’, ‘Use’em Brains: Buzzered’, ‘Ideate’, ‘Biz Wiz’, ‘Gaming’ etc were the other attractions of the fest.
