Bhubaneswar, Oct 5:
If you love thrillers, no doubt this one is for you. Latest Ollywood release ‘Kehi Nuhen Kahara’ is a technically sound movie so far as its production side is concerned. The film was exclusively premiered at the city multiplex Inox last Friday.
“I have pooled in my experience from my earlier 14 films while executing this movie,” said its famed director Susant Mani, who is excited about his latest flick. He has promised the audience wholesome entertainment and a superior technical experience of film-making in the film.
“People have been saying that there has been very little progress in this industry. No quality production, no originality of screenplay and bad cinematography is the reason why people generally avoid going to theatres to watch an Odia film,” said its producer Akshay Parija.
“Through this film, we have tried to bring about a revolution in this industry by experimenting an entirely new genre of commercial cinema and break the existing trend of copying other regional films,” claimed Parija, who is a national award winner to his credit.
The movie’s preview and songs were released on the social media recently helping it gain a wide fan following. It also recieved favourable public and critic reviews.
The film boasts of a gripping starcast with stalwarts like Siddhant Mahapatra, Bijay Mohanty, Kuna Tripathy and Samaresh Routray acting in it. Some other known names like Pinky Pradhan, Nitu Singh and Choudhury Jayaprakash Das have also featured in the film.
Besides these veterans, the film has in the lead roles young and upcoming talents like Elina Samantray and Avisekh Rath. The music is also by debut composer Biswaswarup to give the film a fresh feel.
“I watch Odia films once in a while. However, after watching Kehi Nuhen Kahara, I am convinced that Odia industry can make quality films,” said Ranjib Biswal.
Pappu Pom Pom was also all praises for the film. “I am really happy to see such a film after a long time. The techniques and cinematography is nothing short of a Bollywood stature. The future of this industry is definitely very bright.”
The romantic thriller-mystery is also slated for an international release in Muscat and Dubai as well, the producer announced elatedly.
