JCB India Ltd, India’s largest manufacturer of construction equipment, unveiled its new Backhoe Loader ‘JCB 3DXcellence’ in the city here on Friday.
The launch follows a breakthrough in the innovative concept of Backhoe Loaders that JCB introduced in India in 1980, which was followed by continuous product upgrades with valuable feedback from customers.
The benefits of this new generation machine specially designed for Indian customers are immense with 20 per cent lower fuel consumption in excavation, which will result in fuel savings worth Rs 2.6 lakh per year at current diesel prices, the best engine in the construction equipment industry and a spacious, comfortable and liveable cabin. It has highest resale value and lower maintenance costs.
The new 3DXcellence Backhoe Loader is powered by the fuel efficient and reliable JCB ecoMAX engine, which is an in-house, purpose-built 76 hp engine.
It has also been provided with new JCB ‘Q’ brakes to ease the braking effort by 30 per cent ultimately leading to effective braking and reduced fatigue while operating.
The machine has been strengthened with the new EDSD loader arm and a much improved JCB rear axle for trouble free life. It has been ergonomically designed with 20 per cent more cabin space keeping in mind the requirement of the operator.
The new bonnet with better service access enables the operator to easily carry out daily maintenance checks. Twin ram steering for easy steer ability, a robust king pin design and a new JCB transmission for better dozing are some more unique features of this industry changing machine.
Speaking on the occasion, Vipin Sondhi, Managing Director & CEO, JCB India Ltd said the new generation machine will provide best return on investment to the customers.
“Continuous improvement on our existing products is an integral part of our commitment to reach out to our customers with the best products and services,” he added.
