Bhubaneswar: Indian hockey team reached here today for the upcoming Hockey World League (HWL) Final scheduled to be held at Kalinga Stadium from December 1.
The squad that includes three players from Odisha – Birendra Lakra, Dipsan Tirkey and Amit Rohidas – was given a warm welcome at Biju Patnaik International Airport.
The international hockey event is scheduled to begin from December 1 till 10.
Notably, defenders Birendra Lakra, Dipsan Tirkey and Amit Rohidas have been selected in the 18-member squad led by Manpreet Singh for the tournament. Also Read: Three from Odisha in Indian team for HWL Final
