Turbulent weather, has forced the four Kolkata bound fights, two IA, and two private airlines to land at Bhubaneswar airport.

The passengers of the two IA flights have been shifted to a hotel in the city, while the private airlines are held at the airport.

The aircrafts which made emergency landing are two Delhi-Kolkata flights, a Mumbai-Kolkata flight and a Dhaka-Kolkata flight, according to reports.

The stranded passengers of the flights are facing difficulty and upset by the poor coordination in the airport.

“Yesterday, our flight did not land in Kolkata, we landed here in 1 am in the morning. We hope the flights. There is a complete chaos and there is no person to reply to our enquiries,” said a passenger.
