Enforcement Directorate (ED) sleuths today grilled Seraj Yusha, managing partner at Sirajudeen Mines and an advocate of the company, at the ED office in the Odisha capital for four hours in connection with the ongoing probe in an illegal iron ore mining case.
Both the company officials appeared before ED office at about 12 noon and were closeted with ED sleuths till about 4 pm.
Earlier, the Central Investigating team had summoned several officials working at Sirajuddin & Co, Indrani Patnaik Mines, Triveni Earthmovers and a transport company in which Champua MLA Sanatan Mahakud is a partner following simultaenous searches in 15 locations spread across Odisha, Kolkata and Tamil Nadu in connection with the illegal iron ore mining case on July 9.
