An IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik International airport here after a passenger complained of severe chest pain.
The Hyderabad-Kolkata IndiGo flight made an unscheduled landing in the Bhubaneswar airport at 7:50 am in the morning, for getting medical attention to the passenger.
The passenger, Sashi Menon suffering from chest pain and he was admitted to Capital Hospital for treatment.
The 181 passengers had to wait for half-an-hour in Bhubaneswar airport before it took off to Kolkata after getting a go ahead from ATC.
The ailing traveler had been admitted to the Capital hospital and after his condition did not improve he has been shifted to a private hospital in the Odisha capital..
