Cuttack, Feb 6:

The state government has asked the district collectors and SPs to ensure fool-proof security for smooth conduct of this year’s annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations beginning from February 25

In a video conferencing at the State Secretariat here on Wednesday, chief secretary JK Mohapatra asked the district collectors and SPs to provide 24-hour security at the nodal centres where the questions papers would be kept.

He also discussed carrying of question paper packets to the nodal centres, distribution of question papers at the examination centres and deposit of examination papers at the nodal centres after conclusion of the examination.

The chief secretary asked the collectors and SPs to keep the question papers at the local police station or tehsil where the examination centres in their locality have no specific arrangements.

Among others, Special DG Sanjib Marik, School and Mass Education Secretary Usha Padhee, president of Board of Secondary Education Dakhsya Prasad Nanda and other senior officials of the concerned departments were present on the occasion.
