Bhubaneswar, July 29:
Most parts of south and coastal districts of Odisha experienced heavy to very heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours under the influence of a well-marked low pressure in the north-west Bay of Bengal.
A release by the local Met office here this evening said Koraput district received the highest rainfall of 172 mm, followed by Bolangir (148), Bhawanipatna (146), Puri (125), Titlagarh (50.3), Keonjhar (44.8), Angul (25), Gopalpur (24.9), Cuttack (21.8), Malkangiri (18.8), Chandbali (17), Bhubaneswar (16.4), Sambalpur (15.3) and Sonepur (10.6).
The Met office has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places over north Odisha and south Odisha districts in the next 24 hours.
