Bhubaneswar, May 12:
To provide quality education to the tribal and underprivileged community students, the Odisha government has decided to open model degree colleges in eight districts.
The model degree colleges would come up at Boudh, Deogarh, Malkangiri, Nayagarh, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Rayagada and Sonepur with an estimated cost of Rs 24 crore.
Construction of building of these colleges has been entrusted to chief engineer (Building), sources in the Higher Education department said.
