The Odisha State Fishermen Cooperative Federation (Fishfed) will open 20 modern outlets in the capital city here, official sources said.
The outlets will be fully air-conditioned and have modern equipment to sell fish products.
Two kiosks at a cost of Rs 40 lakh would be opened in the first phase while the rest would be opened later in two phases.
The state government will provide assistance for setting up of these outlets.
These kiosks would be opened at Bhimtangi market, Sailashree Vihar, Mancheswar railway market, Rasulgarh, GGP Colony, Acharya Vihar, Samantarapur, Sum Hospital, Siripur, Unit-III, Dumduma Market, Patia, VSS Nagar, Palasuni, Pandra SBI Colony, Jayadev Vihar, Ganga Nagar, Khandagiri, Laxmisagar and Unit-IX.
