“The moon was seen in various places in Assam, Bihar, and Odisha today (Friday). So, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated tomorrow (Saturday),” Maulana Mufti Mohammed Mukarram told IANS.

He said the moon was not seen in Delhi because of clouds.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday greeted people on the eve of the festival.

“Eid Mubarak,” Kejriwal tweeted. (IANS)
