Expecting massive rush of passengers during Dussehra, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run weekly Special trains toward New Delhi and Yesvantpur from Bhubaneswar and between Visakhapatnam and Tata via Bhubaneswar, Jakhapura, Keonjhar and Banspani.
According to an ECoR release, the 02815 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi AC special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 0810 hours on every Sundaybetween 29th September and 24th November 2013 and arrive at New Delhi at 0605 hours on every Monday.
In the return direction, the train will leave New Delhi at 1300 hours on every Monday between 30th September and 25th November 2013 and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 1105 hours on every Tuesday.
The train will have stoppages at Cuttack, Bhadrak, Baleswar, Hijli, Bankura, Adra, Gomo, Gaya, Mughalsarai, Allahabad and Kanpur.
Besides, the 02845 Bhubaneswar-Yesvantpur air-conditioned special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 0745 hours on every Wednesdaybetween 25th September and 27th November 2013 and arrive at Yesvantpur at 1210 hours on every Thursday.
In the return direction, the train will leave Yesvantpur at 2330 hours on every Thursday between 26th September and 28th November 2013and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 0330 hours on every Saturday.
The train will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vijayanagram and Visakhapatnam.
The 08516 Visakhapatnam-Tata special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1745 hours on every Sunday between 22nd September and 24th November 2013 and arrive at Tata at 1045 hours on the next day.
In the return direction, the train will leave Tata at 1300 hours on every Monday between 23rd September and 25th November 2013 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0440 hours on the following day.
The train will have stoppages at Simhachalam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Palasa, Ichhapuram, Brahmapur, Chhatrapur, Balugaon, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Mancheswar, Cuttack, Jakhapura, Sukinda Road, Harichandanpur, Kendujhargarh, Nayagarh, Jaroli, Bansapani, Dongoaposi, Chaibasa and Rajkharsuan, the release said.
