Air India is all set to fly to Sydney and Melbourne from the Biju Patnaik Airport here with direct flights from August 29.
“Operation to Birmingham has already commenced from August 1 and operation to Sydney and Melbourne will commence from August 29,” said an Air India official.
The introductory fare is very attractive and the schedule too is very convenient for passengers, AI sources said. It is pertinent to mention here that passengers from Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Ranchi and Patna will be given complementary stopover facility at Delhi.
Onward connection to New Zealand and other destinations in Australia is also available, said an airport official.
