The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) eastern region released the mascot ‘Pragati’ for the 18th Enterprise Odisha, the largest Industrial and Consumer Trade Fair in the State, on Tuesday in Jajpur.
“The launch of the mascot is a tribute to Odisha’s march to prosperity and also a part of a grand promotional strategy ahead of the showpiece event,” said Sudhir Deoras, Chairman, CII Eastern Region.
CII will organise this annual flagship event in association with the Government of Odisha from 22-26 November 2013 at IDCO Exhibition Ground here. The primary objectives of this annual event are to explore business opportunities in the state and attract new investments in various sectors. At least 100 large and medium-sized industries, including Tata Steel, Nalco, Vedanta, Jindal Steel and Power, Emami, etc., will put up stalls over an area of approximately 5,000 square meters.
Enterprise Odisha has been providing a strong platform for exhibitors to showcase latest technological innovations in the field of manufacturing and services in last 17 years.
“Enterprise Odisha is also a great meeting ground for exchange of information and ideas for not only the exhibitors, but also for leading government institutions and corporate houses. We expect more than 50,000 visitors,” said Dr. Saugat Mukherjee, Regional Director, CII Eastern Region.
The theme of Enterprise Odisha 2013 is Accelerating Economic Growth through Innovation, Transformation and Effective Implementation.
The CII Enterprise Odisha will focus on sharing of information about products & services, brand awareness creation, business networking, new product launch, sourcing of new business opportunities and scope for market research.
