Odisha will soon have a Central Research Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy (CRIY&N) in the state capital. The establishment of the institute has been approved by the Central government.
This was told by Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) and Health & Family Welfare, Shripad Yesso Naik in reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today.
The Minister said the state has already allocated land for setting up of the institute and the same has been registered in the name of the Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy (CCRYN).
Funds have been released to Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for construction of boundary wall and walking track etc., the Minister added.
