Phulbani, Dec 20:
Carcass of a four-year old elephant has been found today from the Karada reserve forest near Sunapali village in Odisha’s Kandhamal district.
The elephant’s carcass was discovered by locals early morning today who informed the local Forest department officials.
Forest department officials on examination of the carcass have found no signs of external injury on the pachyderm’s body.
Forest officials said that a post-mortem will be conducted following which the real cause behind the death of the elephant will be ascertained.
