Bomb attack in Odisha’s Cuttack city injures two

Cuttack, May 29:

Two persons were injured when crude bombs were hurled at a vegetable shop at Dargha Bazaar in Odisha’s Cuttack city today.

Two elderly persons, who were buying vegetables from the shop, were injured in the bomb attack . They have been admitted  to a city hospital, police said.

The bombs were aimed at the owner of the vegetable shop Dushmant Sahu by unidentified assailants from the roof of a neighbouring house, police sources said.

Police have registered a case and begun investigation.

While old enmity cannot be ruled out, the motive behind the bomb attack is yet to be ascertained , said police.

No one was arrested till reports last came in.
