BJD headed for a landslide victory

With the party leading in 110 of the 147 Assembly seats and 20 of the 21 Lok Sabha seats by 2.30 pm, the ruling Biju Janata Dal in Odisha is heading for a landslide victory in the 2014 polls.BJD

The Congress has gained leads in 19 Assembly seats while BJP is ahead in only 14. Other parties are leading in four seats.

Narasingha Mishra of the Congress is maintaining his lead over the sitting BJD MLA AU Singhdeo in Bolangir Assembly seat.

BJP which was expected to do well in the Lok Sabha polls is leading only in one seat.
