Bank robbery bid foiled as siren goes off

Satyabhamapur, May 14:

A robbery attempt today at the Punjab National Bank in Satyabhamapur in Odisha’s Cuttack district was foiled as the the bank’s alarm siren worked wonders, reports said.

The banks alarm system went off and scared by the sound of the siren the robbers fled the spot before they could be apprehended.

A scientific team of the police is investigating the matter, reports added.
