The psychoanalysis test report on security guard Diptiranjan Patnaik, who allegedly killed city-based businessman’s wife Bachan Sudha Pattanayak on September 11 at Rasulgarh here, is likely to be submitted by the experts from Delhi on Tuesday, Dr RP Sharma, the twin city police commissioner, said.
“After getting the expert report, we will take steps to look for more substantial data in the case,” said Dr Sharma adding the police are investigating the case from all angles.
The Pattanayak family has been alleging the involvement of more persons in the murder case, something that the police has taken seriously, Dr Sharma said.
The police on September 19 had conducted a psychoanalysis test on security guard eith the help of Dr Asha Shrivastav, a clinical psychologist of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory in New Delhi.
During the marathon interrogation at the commissionerate police headquarters, the security guard Diptiranjan, was asked a number of questions in order to dig out information on possible involvement of more than one person in the murder. He was quizzed by the expert in an isolated room for about seven hours .
Meanwhile, Diptiranjan was produced before the SDJM court here after his five-day remand ended on Sunday. He was sent to the Jharpada jail again on Monday.
