The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) authorities would open 20 nodal centres in the state for verification of documents of students and choice locking for admission in their preferred colleges.
“We have asked the students to mention their choice for the institute they want to take admission in. Till date, about 7000 students have completed choice filling from the OJEE website www.ojee.nic.in which will continue till July 17. We have decided to open 20 nodal centres in the state from July 10 for verification of documents of the students and to allow them to go for choice locking for admission in their preferred colleges,” OJEE secretary Priyabrata Sahu told the media.
Stating that the choice filling is exclusively for the students outside Odisha for admission in private engineering colleges, Sahu said the counselling of students from other states would be held for two days.
“Students from outside Odisha have been asked to go for choice filling and get their documents verified in these nodal centres on July 14 and 15,” said informed.
The admission would be held for more than 42,000 seats in 87 private engineering college and about 4000 seats in six government engineering colleges this year.
