International network consumer marketing group Amway India has posted a 16-per cent growth in Odisha during 2013 fiscal.
Announcing this at a press meeting here on Thursday evening, Vice President-East, Amway India Diptarag Bhattacharjee said Odisha has emerged as the leading state among the top 10 states in terms of growth in India in 2013.
Bhattacharjee also announced the launch of a new line of summer colors under the brand Attitude in Odisha and in the eastern region.
“The launch of ‘Attitude Summer Colors’ offers a wider choice of colour cosmetics to the consumers of Odisha. This is in line with our strategy to focus on youth and to strengthen the beauty category of Amway,” Bhattacharjee said.
Among others, Amway India area manager, Odisha, Bishnu Prashad Mohapatra and manager, corporate communication, East, Sarbani Bhattacharya were present.
In 2013, the Amway India clocked a turnover of Rs 2,169 crore, averaging a 20-per cent CAGR over a five-year period between 2008 and 2013.
The company aims to cross the Rs 5,000-crore mark by the year 2020.
