After Niali, sheep death scare grips Cuttack, Mayurbhanj

Cuttack/Baripada: While the Forest department is yet to curb the sheep deaths in Nilai area and trace the killer animal, several sheep were reportedly killed by unidentified creatures in Cuttack and Mayurbhanj districts of Odisha last night.

According to reports, as many as four sheep were killed in an attack by the animal at Panchagaon under Tigiria block in Cuttack district.

The pug marks of the animal have been spotted at the shed where the sheep were kept, reports added.

On being informed, Athagarh Ranger and Forest officials reached the spot and started investigation.

Similarly, another four sheep were allegedly killed by unidentified creatures at Aguada village under Betanati range in Mayurbhanj district. Following the incident, Forest officials reached the spot and examined the pug marks of the animals.
