After three days, temperature soars again in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, May 8:

The temperature level in Odisha that had come down appreciably in the last three days, went up again today.

heat wave odishaWhile Sonepur was the hottest place of the day in the state with 43 degree Celsius, temperature in the state capital went up by 2 degrees to touch 42.2 degrees.

Besides, temperature went up to 40 degree and beyond in Chandbali (41.6), Cuttack (40.5), Angul (40.7), Jharsuguda (40.6), Sambalpur (41.4), Talcher (42), Bhawanipatna (41.5) and Titlagarh (41.2).

Though the local Met office has predicted rain or thundershower at some places in the state in the next 72 hours, it has however, warned that the temperature would rise further after May 11.
