Rourkela, May 13:
Four members of the outlawed People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were seriously injured in an encounter with the police on the outskirts of Rourkela in Odisha’s Sundargarh district this morning.
According to reports, a special squad of steel city police was on the way to Talladega following information about the presence of some armed PLFI members.
As soon as the police team arrived at Talladega, the PLFI members opened fire at them. This was followed by an exchange of fire and during the encounter, four PLFI members were seriously injured while the rest of the members managed to escape.
